Culinary Arts, Mrs. M. Cruz
Yesenia Sepulveda is an outstanding student in Rio Grande Ciy High School. She has been a culinary arts student for 3 consecutive years. She has demonstrated true integrity, leadership, and determination. Yesenia has competed in local fairs and Skills USA organization. Yesenia’s ultimate goalis to become a pastry chef.
Criminal Justice, Mr. A. Bentacourt
Britzeida is an excellent student at Rio Grande City High School. She has displayed great determination, dedication and a positive attitude in the Criminal Justice Class.
Rio Grande City High School CTE
Rio Grande City High School Culinary Arts, Mrs. M. Cruz’s class is learning to read a standardized recipe by measuring dry and wet ingredients. Students learned how to make flour tortillas, chocolate chip cookies and breakfast foods.
Rio Grande City Grulla ISD Audio/Visual
Audio/Visual students attended a presentation by KRGV News Reporter Tanvi Varma. They were also interviewd about how the AV program at Rio High School gives them hands on experiences and about their experiences with Rio High Staff including custodians, cafeteria workers, security and police.
Preparatory for Early College
The Preparatory for Early College High School would like to congratulate the following students on achieving their Southwest Airlines Professional Communication Certifications!
